34th Annual People's Choice Awards

This year's People's Choice Awards had no drama and excitement. There was no red carpet, no backstage antics, and no need to prompt chatty stars to wrap up their acceptance speeches.

Instead, the winners were announced in a taped special on CBS and hosted by actress-singer Queen Latifah. The ceremony was canceled due to the Writers Guild of America strike.
